4th Lincoln Girls’ Brigade

Meeting on Wednesday 18:30 to 21:00

Who we are and what we do…

Girls Brigade is a fun-filled group where young people grow amazing friendships. Girls Brigade is a faith-based organisation, which helps to explore the Christian faith. We are often guided by our young people with their faith exploration. We do recognise not all of the young people who come along on a Wednesday are from a faith background.

On a Wednesday evening, you'll find us playing games, learning and exploring different topics, as well as having a dance and singing along to some action songs.

We run sessions for ages 4-7, 7-11, 11-14 and 14-18.

If you as an adult, are intrigued and would like to volunteer, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also fulfil voluntary requirements for young people completing their D of E.

Check out our Facebook page to see what we have been doing recently.

Ages 7-11 look at positive values such as kindness and introduce them to Bible characters whose stories reflect these values.

Ages 10-14, look at issues being faced today, we've looked at body image and relationship issues. We have also looked at entertainment, where our young people took charge of fully planning a party.

Ages 13-18 - we empower our young people to engage with challenges that help with learning new skills. You might find us looking at different countries or having a pamper evening! With pressure from school and looking at options post-school we recognise this can be a challenging time for young people.
